Knights Of The Willow [Kw] was founded in August 2008 shortly after the collapse and explosion of Stewards Of The Ancient Rites [STAR]. It has emerged in an attempt to retain all of the win and continue the legacy and ideology of our style of gaming: "lolwut." We don't believe in taking ourselves too seriously. We enjoy playing Guild Wars and never lose sight of the fact that it is, above all else, just a game. Some of our activities of note include general PvE, hard mode (dungeons, missions, farming, etc.), and a few excursions into PvP.

[Kw] accepts anyone into the ranks so long as they follow one simple rule: Enjoy playing Guild Wars. There are no requirements that you may find in other guilds (daily faction donation, etc.): No "arbitration process," "council of elders," or any other bullshit like that.

That said, there are a few things that will lead to a member's expulsion. This includes extended absence without prior notice (don't expect to go AFK for 2 months without saying anything and expect to be in the guild when you log back in), spamming Guild or Alliance chat, general douchebaggery, a bad case of "head-up-the-ass," and/or any behavior or activity deemed unacceptable by a consensus of the Leader and Officers (good luck pulling that one off - seriously, we dare you).

Note regarding recruitment:

WE DO NOT CONDONE THE PRACTICE OF SPAMMING LOCAL CHAT WITH GUILD ADVERTISEMENTS. If you happen to catch a [Kw] member doing so, please contact the Leader or any available Officer so that action may be taken. Please understand the difference between making an announcement in a town regarding recruitment vs. spamming said announcement.
